"I know, God, that mere mortals can't run their own lives, that men and women don't have what it takes to take charge of life."
When God created man, He gave man many things, but one thing He didn't give man is the ability to direct his own life successfully. This is exactly the reason why Adam and Eve couldn't just eat what they wanted; they had to eat the only food God commanded, because the only person who can direct a man's life is God. This is why when Adam and Eve ate something the Lord didn't give them permission to eat, even though they were influenced by the serpent who hasn't stopped trying to direct people's lives to this day, they fell. Because, again, the only person who can choose the trajectory of a man's life is God.
The reason you are constantly fagged out and tired is that when God was creating you, He didn't create you with what it takes to take charge of your life. None of your wiring includes what it takes to direct your life. You were created to receive direction from the person who really owns your life. Every time you choose what you want, you are submitting yourself to the danger of being a slave to unrighteousness and preparing yourself for death after death!
John 14:6
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
But for you to receive this direction your life desperately needs, God gave man just one way to get to Him, and that way is Jesus. He is the door that leads to the Father because He was the one who died so you can be free from the burden of the law that came after man tried to direct his own life in the Garden of Eden. He died so you can live, but not just live, so you can live eternally. So you can die on earth just to go and live again! Hallelujah!
This is why you need Jesus. Have you accepted Him into your life so you can live the life that is characterized by peace and power that comes from a man's relationship with his creator? Do you want to live and not die the second death? Then you need Jesus!
ROMANS 10:9-11
"Because if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says everyone believing on Him shall not be ashamed."
Are you ready to accept the Lord's offer of salvation? Say this prayer:
Dear Lord, I come to you in the name of your son Jesus, who I now believe died for me. I am willing to accept this gift of salvation today and forsake my old ways. Therefore, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour, and I believe in my heart that He was raised from the dead back to life for my justification. Now I am saved! Hallelujah!
